NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The National Service Scheme (NSS), sponsored by the Indian Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, cultivates social responsibility and civic engagement among students. Guided by the motto “Not Me, But You,” NSS aims to help students understand their communities, address their needs, and develop a sense of social responsibility.

The NSS Committee of AWH Engineering College, Kuttikkattoor forms the organizational core for NSS activities within the institution, playing a vital role in planning, implementing, and coordinating diverse social service initiatives. Comprising dedicated student volunteers, faculty members, a programme officer, an assistant programme officer, and a chairperson, the committee identifies community needs, organizes events such as blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and awareness campaigns, and ensures active participation of student volunteers. It also fosters collaborations with local organizations and government bodies, maximizing the impact of NSS activities and providing AWH Engineering College students with valuable leadership and organizational experience while contributing to the betterment of society.
